Dental Photographic Mirror – Dental Photographic Mirrors – NES-1180

Child Buccal
Pediatric patients don’t hold still for long, and they definitely don’t hold still for an adult-sized mirror wedged against their cheek. The NES-1180 is built around that reality — a buccal mirror scaled down for smaller mouths, so posterior views can actually be captured before a young patient’s patience runs out.
Quick Features:
Sized for pediatric and mixed-dentition patients
Rhodium-coated reflective surface prevents the ghosting/double-image effect common with uncoated mirrors under camera flash
Surgical stainless steel body, autoclave-rated
Designed for use with a cheek retractor for stable posterior framing
Useful for pediatric restorative documentation, early orthodontic screening, and specialist referrals
The core problem this solves: undersized diagnostic instrument in a small mouth mean awkward angles, rushed positioning, and photos that don’t hold up in a chart. A properly sized child buccal mirror shortens the time needed in the mouth, which matters clinically and matters to a nervous seven-year-old.
Pairs naturally with the NES-1181 child palatal mirror for practices building a complete pediatric photography kit. At $30, it’s a practical addition for any general or pediatric practice documenting posterior work in younger patients — and orders of 100 or more units qualify for a 10% bulk discount.
