Dental Photographic Mirror – Dental Photographic Mirrors – NES-1170

Adult Palatal
The adult palatal mirror is the workhorse of intraoral photography — the tool that turns a cramped, wet, poorly lit oral cavity into a clean, reflection-accurate image a clinician or lab can actually use. Sized for the full adult upper arch, the NES-1170 captures occlusal views of the maxillary dentition in a single reflected frame, which matters enormously for shade matching, case documentation, orthodontic records, and before/after photography in cosmetic and restorative work.
What makes a photographic mirror different from a standard exam mirror is the surface itself: rhodium or chrome coating on the reflective face eliminates the double-image ghosting that ordinary glass mirrors produce under flash photography, giving a true, single reflection every time. That distinction is easy to overlook until a clinician tries shooting through a regular mouth mirror and gets a blurred, doubled result unusable for patient records.
Built in surgical stainless steel with an ergonomic handle, this diagnostic instrument is designed to be pre-warmed (to prevent fogging) and positioned with one hand while the other operates the camera — a workflow every cosmetic and orthodontic practice eventually standardizes around.
At $30, it’s priced as a working clinical tool, not a specialty accessory, and pairs naturally with the child palatal and buccal mirrors in this same product line for a complete intraoral photography set. Volume orders of 100+ qualify for a 10% discount.
