Description

Completing the paired set with NES-077, Article-NES-078 is the left-sided counterpart within the Fig 73 lower molar family, with a beak curvature oriented to match the root pattern typically found on the lower left arch.

Many practices that extract frequently prefer working with side-matched instruments rather than a single universal forceps, simply because the fit reduces the amount of manual repositioning needed mid-procedure. NES-078 was designed around that preference—its tips close naturally onto the mesial and distal roots of left lower molars without requiring the clinician to compensate for a mismatched curve.

Construction follows the same standard applied throughout the NES catalog: forged surgical stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and repeated autoclave cycling, with a handle contoured for a secure grip during firmer extractions. The instrument holds its beak alignment reliably even after extensive sterilization use, which matters for practices running high patient volumes.

This model rounds out Next Edge Surgical’s lower molar lineup within its broader range of extracting forceps, giving dental offices a complete left/right/general set (alongside NES-076 and NES-077) for handling nearly any lower molar presentation that walks through the door. At $25 per unit, it’s a cost-effective addition to any surgical tray, with volume pricing available for practices ordering in bulk.
