Volkmann Curette, Round/Round, available in 13 cm/5 1/4″, 16 cm/6 1/4″, and 20 cm/8″ lengths.
The 11-870-13 is a Volkmann pattern curette built for controlled removal of soft tissue and cancellous bone from surgical cavities. Both working ends carry a round cup, giving the surgeon two matched curetting surfaces on a single instrument rather than requiring a separate tool for each pass.
This double round configuration is part of our bone surgery instruments line, and it is supplied in three working lengths so the surgeon can match reach to the depth of the cavity being treated.
Round cup at each end for consistent curetting geometry throughout the procedure
Available in 13 cm/5 1/4″, 16 cm/6 1/4″, and 20 cm/8″ lengths
Rounded profile supports smooth contact against curved bone surfaces
Longer lengths extend access into deeper cavities without changing instruments
Reusable construction suited to standard sterilization workflows
Curettes of this pattern are commonly used in orthopaedic and general bone procedures where granulation tissue, debris, or soft cancellous bone needs to be cleared before grafting or fixation. Having matched round ends on one shaft keeps the surgeon’s motion consistent from one pass to the next, which can simplify handling during longer procedures.
The 11-870-13 is a practical option for surgeons who prefer a single curette covering multiple cavity depths rather than carrying separate instruments for each size. Add the 11-870-13 to your surgical set.
