Grip is everything once a root surface turns unpredictable, and that’s the problem the NES-741 is built to solve. Its serrated working edge is designed to hold its position against a root rather than sliding away from it, which becomes critical the moment a smooth blade would otherwise skate off under applied pressure.
Not every extraction goes according to plan.
