Retained root tips are one of the more frustrating complications in routine extractions. The NES-596 is an apical elevator built specifically for this situation. Its narrow, angled blade reaches the bottom of the socket without requiring excessive bone removal. It gives the clinician a controlled way to dislodge and retrieve fragments that standard elevators cannot easily access.
