The NES-593 is an Apical elevator. It comes in the left pattern. Apical elevators are built for one job. They reach the very tip of the root. This matters most when a root fractures below the gumline. A narrow, angled tip can still get there.
The left orientation suits the operator’s natural wrist angle on that side of the arch.
A slim, tapered tip slides into tight apical spaces without forcing the bone.
