Dental Gum Scissors – Iris Scissor Straight T.C GOLD – NES-2680

11 cm
The Iris Scissor Straight T.C Gold (NES-2680) is an 11cm precision instrument fitted with gold-coated tungsten carbide inserts, built for fine, controlled cutting in tight maxillofacial and oral surgical fields. Among our maxillofacial surgery instruments, this straight-blade Iris pattern is a go-to for detail work where a standard-sized scissor would be too large or imprecise.
The gold T.C. inserts give this scissor a meaningfully longer cutting life than plain stainless steel blades, holding their edge through repeated fine cuts without dulling as quickly. That durability matters for an instrument used constantly for small, precise adjustments throughout a procedure.
Why practitioners reach for this pattern:
Straight blade for direct-line, predictable cuts
11cm size suited to detail work in confined fields
Gold T.C. inserts extend cutting-edge life
Fully autoclavable stainless steel body
Its compact 11cm length keeps the instrument light and easy to maneuver, particularly useful when working in smaller anatomical spaces where a bulkier scissor would compromise visibility or control.
Built to withstand daily clinical use and repeated sterilization cycles, this scissor holds its sharp, precise edge reliably over time, making it a dependable fixture on any maxillofacial instrument tray.
