Dental Curette – 30/33 Jacquette – NES-1700

The NES-1700 puts a 30 on one end and a 33 on the other, keeping both tips in the same family so the blade angle, thickness, and cutting feel stay predictable no matter which side is in use.
Jacquette-pattern blades are narrower and more sharply angled than a Towner sickle, built to slide into interproximal spaces and around line angles rather than sweeping broad facial surfaces. The 30/33 pairing covers slightly different access angles within that same narrow-access category — one leans toward mesial approach, the other distal — so an operator working around a full arch doesn’t need to reach for a third instrument to finish a quadrant.
A few things worth knowing about this one:
Both blades share the same triangular cross-section for consistent cutting feel across the whole instrument
Sharp, pointed tips also work as a general diagnostic instrument for spot-checking treated surfaces
Forged in one piece from surgical stainless steel, no soldered joints to fail over time
Autoclave-rated and built to hold an edge through normal clinical wear
Hygienists doing detailed interproximal scaling tend to reach for a matched pair like this one specifically because it removes the guesswork of switching between different blade families mid-appointment. A dependable, no-surprises addition to a scaling setup already built around Jacquette-style access.
