Dental Curette – Gracey Curettes Solid Handle Ø 6mm, Length 170mm 3/4 – NES-1565

A dental school instructor once put it simply: the 3/4 curette is the one you reach for right after the 1/2, because together they cover the full facial and lingual sweep of the anterior segment. The NES-1565 carries that same 3/4 pattern in a solid Ø 6mm handle running 170mm end to end, a design choice aimed at clinicians who find hollow handles a bit too light for sustained control during meticulous root debridement.
The blade geometry keeps the same rounded toe and single cutting edge that defines every Gracey pattern, so soft tissue isn’t disturbed while the working end removes calculus along the root. Solid stainless construction means the handle carries a bit more heft than its hollow counterpart, which many experienced clinicians actually prefer, since it keeps the instrument steady through longer strokes without feeling loose in a gloved hand. It’s sold individually, which suits practices topping up an existing case, equipping a second operatory chair, or handing a matched pair of anterior curettes to a hygienist starting a new position.
Pairing it with a diagnostic instrument for pocket measurement before instrumentation is standard practice in most periodontal workflows, letting the clinician confirm depth before selecting the 3/4 for the specific surface in question. Next Edge Surgical builds the NES-1565 to hold its edge through repeated sharpening and full sterilization cycles.
