Named patterns carry decades of clinical refinement behind them, and the NES-1070 brings together six of the most trusted: two Bein elevators, a matched Cryer pair, and two Apical elevators. Each pattern was designed for a specific job, and having all of them in one set covers a surprising range of extraction scenarios.
The Bein elevators, in 3mm and 5mm widths, excel at working into the periodontal ligament space to loosen a tooth before forceps take over. The Cryer 31 and 32 come as a mesial and distal pair, built specifically for removing root fragments after a tooth has been sectioned, their pointed triangular tips wedge into narrow spaces other instruments can’t reach. The Apical 302 and 303 round things out with fine, narrow tips suited to retrieving small root tips deep in the socket.
