Obwegeser Periosteal Elevator, available in 17 cm/6 3/4″ length with 6 mm, 7 mm, 9 mm, and 11 mm widths, and 20 cm/8″ length with 5 mm, 8 mm, and 9 mm widths.
The 11-902-17 is an Obwegeser periosteal elevator, supplied in two lengths and a range of tip widths so surgeons can match the instrument to the extent of periosteal elevation required.
This elevator is part of our bone surgery instruments range, where periosteal elevators are used to lift and separate the periosteum from underlying bone to expose the surgical field.
Available in 17 cm/6 3/4″ length with 6 mm, 7 mm, 9 mm, and 11 mm tip widths
Also available in 20 cm/8″ length with 5 mm, 8 mm, and 9 mm tip widths
Obwegeser tip design suited to controlled periosteal elevation
Wide range of tip widths allows selection based on the area needing exposure
Reusable construction for repeated sterilization cycles
Periosteal elevators like the Obwegeser pattern are used across maxillofacial and orthopaedic procedures where the surgeon needs to raise the periosteum cleanly before working on the underlying bone. Having both a shorter and a longer length available, each with several tip widths, lets the surgeon choose an instrument suited to the depth of the field and the width of the area being exposed, rather than compromising with a single fixed size.
The broad size range on the 11-902-17 makes it a practical choice for practices that handle a variety of maxillofacial and bone exposure procedures. Add the 11-902-17 to your surgical set.
