Description

Upper root extractions come with their own set of anatomical challenges, and Article NES-162 is shaped specifically to meet them. These forceps handle maxillary root fragments with a beak geometry designed around the upward angle and curvature typical of upper arch roots.

Because upper roots sit differently than their lower counterparts, often curving toward the palate or sinus floor, a forceps needs a matching angle to seat properly without forcing the tooth in a direction it wasn't meant to move. This instrument's jaw angle is built around that anatomy, letting the operator apply traction along the root's natural path rather than fighting against it.

That anatomical fit translates directly into a cleaner, more predictable extraction, with noticeably less risk of fracture at the root apex. The handle is contoured for a secure, fatigue-resistant grip, which matters during procedures that call for sustained, controlled pressure. Constructed from surgical-grade stainless steel, the forceps holds its precision through years of use and repeated autoclave cycles without corroding or losing its shape.

A practical addition for general dental clinics, oral surgery centers, and training programs handling routine upper root extractions.
