Blunt/Blunt, Curved, Serrated

Curved where the standard Gorney pattern runs straight, the NES-2677 brings a blunt-blunt, curved, serrated blade to the same trusted lineup, available in 18cm and 23cm lengths. The curve gives practitioners better visibility around the cutting point, since the blade angle keeps the instrument shaft slightly out of the direct line of sight during delicate work.
That curved profile matters most in confined maxillofacial fields, where following a contoured cutting line, rather than a straight one, produces a cleaner result closer to the tissue’s natural shape. Among the maxillofacial surgery instruments in this scissors line, the curved-serrated combination is particularly useful for tissue that tends to shift or slip under a smooth blade.
The serrated edge adds grip during the cut, holding tissue in place as the blades close rather than letting it slide away from the cutting point. That extra control can meaningfully reduce the number of attempts needed for a clean, single cut.
Available in both 18cm and 23cm, practitioners can match the instrument’s reach to the depth of the surgical field, from more contained access to deeper procedures requiring extended length.
Built from surgical-grade stainless steel, this scissor withstands repeated sterilization cycles and daily clinical handling while holding its curved, serrated cutting edge precisely over time.
For procedures where contoured, non-slip cutting matters, this pattern is a dependable, purpose-built choice.
