Dental Curette – Gracey Mesial – NES-1625

Fig. 11/12 GR
The NES-1625 is cut to the Fig. 11/12 Gracey pattern, the configuration built specifically for mesial root surfaces on premolars and molars — the tight, often-missed contact areas where calculus tends to hide and general scalers can’t get proper adaptation.
Key details:
Fig. 11/12 blade geometry, shaped for mesial interproximal access
Shank angle keeps the terminal third of the blade flush against curved mesial root anatomy
Surgical-grade stainless steel construction for a stiff, predictable stroke
Fine cutting edge suited to tight embrasures and shallow furcation entrances
Doubles as a diagnostic instrument when assessing mesial root topography and residual calculus before treatment
Fully autoclavable for routine sterilization between patients
Ergonomic handle profile reduces pinch-grip fatigue during extended appointments
Mesial surfaces are notoriously easy to under-treat because most curettes are ground for buccal or lingual access and simply don’t seat correctly when rotated toward the contact point. The NES-1625 is ground specifically for that mesial angle, so clinicians aren’t compensating with wrist rotation or forcing an ill-suited blade into a space it wasn’t designed for.
Paired with its distal counterpart, the NES-1625 rounds out full posterior root coverage — mesial, distal, buccal, and lingual — across a complete Gracey set, making it a natural addition for practices building out a comprehensive periodontal instrument tray.
