Dental Curette – USC-128 – NES-1723

What if the instrument in your hand simply disappeared from conscious thought?
That is the design goal behind the NES-1723.
Next Edge Surgical LLC focused on mass distribution and balance point so the tool becomes an extension of the wrist rather than an object the fingers must constantly manage. The result is lower cumulative stress across a full day of instrumentation.
Key observations from clinical use:
• Edge retention remains predictable after repeated autoclave exposure
• Shank flexibility allows light exploratory strokes without loss of control
• Surface finish sheds debris readily during ultrasonic cleaning
These traits matter most during closed-root procedures where visibility is limited and tactile information is the primary guide. The instrument does not chatter or skate across burnished calculus; it engages and stays engaged until the surface is smooth.
In the sequence of care it can also function momentarily as a diagnostic instrument when the operator needs to confirm the presence or absence of residual deposits before moving to the next tooth.
Offices that track instrument longevity often find the NES-1723 remains in active rotation longer than expected, reducing both purchase frequency and the administrative burden of constant replacement.
