Dental Photographic Mirror – Dental Photographic Mirrors – NES-1174

Child Palatal
Smaller arch. Same job. A mirror that fits.
Quick Details:
Sized for pediatric and mixed-dentition patients — not a scaled-down guess, but a mirror built to actually seat comfortably in a smaller palate
Rhodium-coated surface prevents the double-image distortion regular mouth mirrors produce under flash photography
Surgical stainless steel construction, autoclave-rated for standard sterilization cycles
Designed to pair with cheek retractors for full-arch occlusal shots in younger patients
Useful for pediatric ortho starts, mixed-dentition case tracking, and referral documentation to specialists
The practical case for owning this size specifically: trying to photograph a child’s palate with an adult-sized mirror usually means poor positioning, a fogged or partial image, or a patient who won’t tolerate the procedure long enough to get the shot. None of that helps a chart, an insurance submission, or a specialist referral.
At $30, this diagnostic instrument is a low-cost addition to any pediatric or family practice’s documentation kit, and it holds up to the same autoclave routine as the rest of the tray without degrading the coating. Buying in volume (100+ units) qualifies for Next Edge Surgical’s standard 10% discount — useful for practice groups standardizing pediatric photography kits across multiple locations.
