ROOT ELEVATORS NES-1091

The NES-1091 syndesmotome takes a different approach to loosening a tooth before extraction. Rather than levering against bone the way many dental root elevators instruments do, this thin curved blade slides along the root surface and cuts through the periodontal ligament fibers holding the tooth in place. The left curve and 4 mm width are built specifically for lingual and buccal luxation.
Technique matters more than force with a syndesmotome. The blade is guided gently around the tooth, working the sulcus rather than pushing against it, which keeps pressure off the alveolar bone and surrounding soft tissue.
