Some instruments just work. The NES-620 is a Miller elevator. It has a straight, narrow blade with a pointed tip. That tip seats cleanly into tight periodontal spaces without requiring much force to establish purchase. It is the kind of instrument that gets used early and often in routine extraction sequences.
Dental root elevators with a straight narrow profile like the Miller are particularly effective on upper and lower anterior teeth. The pointed tip allows precise entry along the root surface. From there, controlled wedging pressure expands the ligament space progressively. This reduces the force needed during forceps placement and lowers the risk of root fracture.
The NES-620 is made from German stainless steel. The blade holds its shape and point through repeated clinical use. It withstands autoclave sterilization without any loss of dimensional accuracy. The handle is comfortable in a gloved palm. It gives the clinician good feedback during the loosening phase. The satin finish keeps glare low under operatory lighting and the surface secure in hand throughout the procedure.
