Dental Curette – Gracey Curettes – NES-1598

13/14
The NES-1598 follows the 13/14 pattern and is intended for distal surface engagement on posterior teeth. Next Edge Surgical LLC produces this dental forceps with carefully aligned jaws that adapt to the distal root morphology, enabling secure hold and controlled movement during extraction. The stainless-steel construction provides the necessary rigidity while remaining light enough for precise handling in the distal region.
Practical working characteristics:
Jaw contact remains even once the primary grip is set.
Force application feels progressive rather than abrupt.
Surface integrity survives repeated sterilization without developing roughness.
These traits support efficient extraction sequences and help preserve soft-tissue margins. The instrument adapts well to both upper and lower posterior sites and maintains its original action after extended clinical service. Clinics monitoring instrument longevity find the NES-1598 continues to track true over many sterilization cycles.
When preparing the case, a diagnostic instrument is commonly used first to establish distal root orientation and tissue status. The NES-1598 offers focused distal access and reliable mechanical performance for practitioners who need consistent results on the distal surfaces of molars and premolars.
