Dental Curette – Gracey Curettes – NES-1602

7/8
The NES-1602 follows the 7/8 pattern and is engineered for buccal and lingual access on posterior teeth. Next Edge Surgical LLC forms this dental forceps from surgical stainless steel that holds its working edges through repeated sterilization and clinical loading. The beaks are angled to adapt closely to the buccal and lingual contours of molars and premolars, allowing the clinician to establish a firm hold with limited soft-tissue interference.
The hinge mechanism provides progressive resistance rather than sudden engagement, giving the operator clearer feedback during elevation. Handle length supports a stable grip while keeping the working field visible. After autoclaving the surface returns clean and free of residual film, ready for immediate reuse. This model proves especially practical when space is limited or when the tooth presents a challenging buccal or lingual root form.
Many operators first evaluate the site with a diagnostic instrument to confirm root orientation before seating the forceps. The NES-1602 delivers consistent mechanical response and reliable seating for posterior buccal and lingual extractions, making it a functional addition to any active dental set that prioritizes controlled force and tissue preservation.
