Description

A third lower molar forceps enters the American Pattern lineup with Article NES-307 (Fig. 17), giving Next Edge Surgical LLC customers yet another beak configuration for this frequently extracted tooth type.

Why does one tooth category warrant three separate figure numbers? Subtle differences in beak curvature, jaw width, or grip angle mean each configuration seats slightly differently on a given crown shape, and lower molars in particular vary enough between patients that a single design rarely suits every case equally well. This Fig. 17 variant rounds out that range, offering an alternative fit for clinicians whose technique or hand size favors a different geometry than the Fig. 15 or Fig. 16 options.

That kind of selection matters most in high-volume general practices, where dozens of molar extractions might happen in a single week and even minor differences in fit translate into real gains in efficiency and control over time.

  • Fig 17 beak configuration for lower molars
  • Alternative geometry to complement NES-304 and NES-306
  • Ergonomic handle for confident, sustained grip
  • Surgical-grade stainless steel, fully autoclavable

A solid addition to a comprehensive dental extracting forceps collection built around the lower molar variety.
