Orthodontic Pliers – Bracket Removing Plier curved for easy removal of brackets in the posterior region – NES-3691

14.5cm
Posterior teeth are notoriously awkward to work in, and bracket removal back there is no exception. The Article NES-3691 addresses this directly with a curved design built specifically for easy bracket removal in the posterior region, where a straight instrument often can’t get proper access or line of sight.
At 14.5cm, it’s slightly longer than its straight-jaw counterpart, giving practitioners the extra reach needed to work comfortably around molars and premolars without straining for access or asking the patient to open unnaturally wide.
The curve in the jaw follows the natural arc of the dental arch, letting the tips meet the bracket base at a more direct angle even in the back of the mouth.
This angled approach reduces the awkward wrist positioning that straight pliers can force when reaching posterior sites, which in turn helps practitioners apply cleaner, more controlled removal pressure. Less strain on the hand translates to steadier technique and a gentler experience for the patient during debonding.
Constructed from stainless steel, the plier is built to withstand the repeated mechanical stress of bracket removal across many patients and appointments. It’s fully autoclavable, fitting seamlessly into standard sterilization workflows between uses.
For practices that debond a high volume of posterior brackets, having both a straight and a curved removing plier on hand covers the full arch efficiently, adapting the instrument to the tooth rather than forcing an awkward angle at the chair.
